Nine Tabitha’s Daughters joined together on Sunday, May 17, 2026 to set our NEW AGENDA for a NEW Project: Tabitha’s Daughters Village Garden.

In the stage of its infancy, these nine women are helping to plan strategy for our Food Sovereignty project which is in the beginning stages. Tabitha’s Daughters is determined to change the way we use food, household products, & cosmetics by learning (and teaching) ourselves and our community that WE CAN CHANGE how we eat and live.

Our projected goal is FOOD & HEALTH SOVEREIGNTY in 2026 and beyond: “Food Sovereignty is the right of women to cultivate, harvest, & produce sustainable methods of controlling our own food, agriculture, & household products for wellness & health. As we embrace our elders & ancestors’ ways of healing, and gain new knowledge, as well, we can take back control of our health & wellness, while teaching what we learn and how we are determined to live in the present & future for ourselves, OUR FAMILIES, & OUR COMMUNITY.
