“ABOUT US”- THE TABITHA’S DAUGHTERS’ STORY

In October of 2014, Tabitha’s Daughters was born. Beginning with nine women, including our founder, Angie (Maxine) Garrett of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Tabitha’s Daughters formed, as an empowered fellowship of women who desired community through sisterhood and sharing our unique and personal stories with each other. As our sisterhood grew from nine to forty-five women (and more), HEALTH JUSTICE became our mission, as we continually seek to transform ourselves (mind, body, & soul), that we may be healed and become healers of our community.

MISSION STATEMENT: Tabitha’s Daughters, LLC seeks: Empowerment, healing, and transformation of women’s lives by the communal practice of sisterly fellowship, including study and sharing of our life stories.
